Dr Dominic Radford is a GP with considerable experience and training in Sports Medicine. He has undertaken all of his training within the UK where he worked as both a General Practitioner and Specialist Physician in Sports Medicine. Dr Radford operates his own medical services business at Lake Kawana General Practice.
He is both a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners as well as a having Fellowship of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in the United Kingdom. He has previously worked as a team physician within elite sports including England Rugby Union & League, Premiership Soccer and was a lead physician at the 2012 London Olympics. He has a particular interest in chronic tendonopathies for which he is able to deliver treatment in the form of Extracorporeal Shockwave therapy. Dr Radford welcomes new patients, he offers consultations in his practice Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm and Thursday 9.00am – 12.30pm, he also does pre-employment medicals and functional assessments.
