Dr James Williams is Queensland born and bred, he attended school and university in Brisbane. He graduated from Medical School in 1991 and undertook his houseman years at Royal Brisbane and Toowoomba General Hospitals before embarking on a stint as a rural doctor in Goondiwindi. He then became the Medical Superintendent of Surat Hospital. At this time he successfully completed the Early Management of Severe Trauma course. For reasons of family life James relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 1998 and hasn’t moved since! Dr Williams operates his own medical services business at Lake Kawana General Practice. He has postgraduate qualifications in General Practice, Rural and Remote Medicine and Musculoskeletal Medicine and is also a State Health accredited Yellow Fever vaccine provider. He continues to enjoy all facets of family general practice with a special interest in musculoskeletal pain.
Dr Williams consults in his practice Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm. Dr Williams is currently unable to accept new patients.
