Dr. Juan Paulo Panti, BS Human Biology, MD, FPOA (Orthopaedics)
Dr. Paulo Panti obtained his medical degree in 2006 and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship at the Philippine General Hospital in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, he undertook advanced fellowship training in Sports Orthopaedics, Adult Joint Reconstruction, and Foot and Ankle Surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. During this period, he trained under the mentorship of several distinguished orthopaedic surgeons and professors.
Following his fellowship, Dr. Panti has served across various Queensland Health facilities, including the Fraser Coast region and Princess Alexandra Hospital. Since 2019, he has been based in the Sunshine Coast region.
Though originally trained as an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Panti transitioned to General Practice in pursuit of a more holistic approach to patient care and to achieve a healthier work-life balance. His multidisciplinary background enables him to manage a broad range of musculoskeletal and general health conditions.
Dr. Panti currently serves as a Queensland State Council Member for Sports Medicine Australia.
Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Panti is a passionate basketball enthusiast and enjoys following boxing and mixed martial arts. He and his family actively engage in sporting activities and maintain a strong interest in health and fitness.
